Education Program
Back-to-School program provides the
necessary essentials for over
200 children. This program targets children of single
parents and children at orphanages and the children of the
In School Success Program . Every school year the
Haynes Foundation distributes backpacks containing
notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons and other school supplies
along with uniforms and shoes to the children.
University of Guyana Scholarship Program
The establishment of a scholarship program f
or enthusiastic
secondary school students who would like to pursuit
post-secondary education in the Faculties of Science and
Technology at the University of Guyana (UG), but who do not
have the financial means to do so. Student applicants must
also be committed to community service, sports and
contributing to Guyana’s development once they have
graduated from the University of Guyana. This scholarship
will fund full tuition and miscellaneous fees for one
scholar each year for four years towards a Bachelor’s degree
program.
