Programs
The Haynes Foundation supports the humanitarian, educational and sporting needs for the children of Guyana regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2006, Haynes Foundation has distributed goods, equipment and services to more than 200 children.
The Haynes Foundation extended its services and programs in the New Jersey School system (Winslow Township Middle School), USA through its In School Success Program (ISSP) utilizing interventions that are evidence-based models of treatment. Models that have influenced this program include: Collaborative Problem Solving, Life Skills Training and Triple P.
Today our work has made an impact across not only in Guyana, but also in the United States. We are committed to clothing and feeding the disadvantage. Teaching life skills to teenagers and young adults so they may sustain their independence in the real world. Educational supplies to enhance learning and reducing illiteracy. Sports and fitness for healthier children. Providing clinics, school supplies, HIV/AIDS prevention supplies and sporting equipment to many areas, including Georgetown, Linden, Port Mourant, Rose Hall, Pomeroon and Supenaam in Guyana
Haynes Foundation adopted the Ruimveldt Children's Home Orphanages in Guyana to offset the operating cost, time and special skills need to operate them. Our impact will focus on mental health, life and developmental skills, clothing and educating the children to ensure a positive and rewarding future.
Over the years, more than 15,000 books (Textbooks and Notebooks), Schools supplies (Pens, Pencils, Crayons, Technical Drawing, Arts and Craft) have been distributed the to Lion's Club, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools and Technical Schools. Expansion projects to include replenishing books (fiction and non-fiction) to the New Amsterdam, Berbice Library and computers for community centers.
STD, HIV/AIDS, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention training and Condom distributions are conducted on frequent basic to fight the STD prevention cause. Food For the Poor Inc. has partnered to distribute clothes and shoes and medical supplies to disadvantaged children in the rural regions of Guyana.
The Haynes Foundation supports all sports programs encourages the youths to get at least 60 minutes of exercise daily. Ongoing support and sponsorship of basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, cricket, chess and soccer.
Haynes Foundation has been featured in Caribbean Life(NY), Caribbean Impact(NY), NCN (GUY), Stabroek News (GUY), Kaieteur News (GUY) across North America.
Haynes Foundation is a 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS and donating parties are eligible for tax advantages. Anyone can join our cause, and we need your help.
